The Temple Bar in Dublin

I’ve never been to Ireland. I hate myself for this fact. It’s a tempting place, and you’re tortured by sights you’ve seen in photos only: freckled women with red and black hair, rolling greens you could bowl on, and that old school pub – that glowing red light – I’ve dreamed to have a drink in.

What is the Temple Bar?

from Wikipedia: “Temple Bar (IrishBarra an Teampaill) is an area on the south bank of the River Liffey in centralDublinIreland. Unlike the areas surrounding it, Temple Bar has preserved its medieval street pattern, with many narrow cobbled streets. It is promoted as “Dublin’s cultural quarter”[citation needed] and has a lively nightlife that is popular with tourists.”

Citation needed? I’m on it.
